ERIC CLAPTON @ Hallenstadion - Zurich

On a dark and rainy night out at the Hallenstadion, Clapton seemed to please the always-reserved Swiss concert goers during a three part electric-acoustic-electric set of favourites.

With a trusted crew in support, including Katie Kissoon & Nathan East, Clapton blues-rocked through a slightly shorter set than usual, possibly due to technical issues in the acoustic part that appeared to agitate him.

None-the-less, he regained his composure and the final electric numbers brought the place somewhat to life (if you attend large gigs in Switzerland, you’ll know what I mean…). Finally he was rewarded when the audience paid homage by rising from their seats and standing at the front for the encore. Overall, a very pleasant evening watching a true legend making it look incredibly easy and with his voice sounding incredible despite such a long life on the road.
