Cradle Of Filth: Dark Horses and Forces Tour 2022
Am Samstag. 15. Oktober 2022 gibt es einen gewaltigen Konzertabend im Komplex 457: Cradle Of Filth und Alcest kommen mit der Dark Horses and Forces Tour nach Zürich.
Vor 30 langen Jahren aus den Tiefen der Hölle in England geboren, sind Cradle Of Filth eine unbestrittene Grösse des Extreme Metal geworden. Angeführt vom ikonischen und namensgebenden Sänger und Frontman Dani Filth hat sich die Band über die Jahre zu einer einzigartigen, kreativen und unterhaltsamen Live-Band entwickelt.
Ihr neuestes Album “Existence Is Futile” veröffentlichte die Band im Oktober 2021. “The previous album was very ornate and fiddly and meandered all over the place,” sagt Dani. “We attempted to drop the ingredients of all the CRADLE records onto one album. And with that flushed out of our systems, we endeavoured to experiment a little bit this time. Though I do so hate that word, because you know what happens when bands of previous good tenure announce they’re ‘experimenting’! It usually goes totally tits up! [Laughs]. Naturally there’s really stupidly brutal songs on the record but then we go and toss something more balladic into the mix. But despite the extremes prevailing, we still wanted to do something really catchy. So there are, god forbid, sky-punching choruses too!”
Als Special Guest ist die französische Blackgaze/Post Rock Band Alcest dabei. Das Duo aus Avignon ist seit 2000 unterwegs und hat bisher sieben Studioalben veröffentlicht, die sich oft textlich um das Konzept der Anderswelt drehen.
