My first metal concert was way back in 1981 and it happened to be Judas Priest (this was in fact my third gig, the first being Ian Dury and second the Boomtown Rats… see how my taste rapidly changed!). Therefore they hold a special place in my personal history, and photographing them is always something I look forward to. Tonight was no exception, and the Samsung Hall was totally packed and sweating to a wall of classic heavy metal stretching way back past my first brush with Mr Halford and his huge motorcycle that was ridden on stage!
